I saw your eyes from the corner, yes I was there,
You didn’t see me looking and I could only stare,
I didn’t have the guts to tell you what I felt,
So I am writing it down, in this paper right here.
Smoky eyes, smoky eyes,
I wish to die in them,
Don’t know why, don’t know why,
They remind me of heaven.
The way you rolled them as you bought some stuff,
I felt intoxicated as if by a cocaine snuff,
Did not know your name, neither could I ask,
Speaking out a single word, seemed an uphill task,
I tried to stop myself, but couldn’t resist the fall,
As I drowned in your eyes; in that lining of the kohl.
Smoky eyes, smoky eyes,
I wish to die in them,
Don’t know why, don’t know why,
They remind me of heaven.
I saw you on the street, only you I could hear,
Every voice felt was on mute, you were music to my ears,
I didn’t have the power, to raise my arms and clap,
So I pen down my applause, in this paper right here.
Smoky eyes, smoky eyes,
I don’t know what it is,
Smoky eyes, smoky eyes,
I just want to take a dip.
I know it is a dream,
I’ll never be in them,
All I pray is for a chance,
To hold you and look in,
Give me the pleasure; I just want to die,
Sink and drown and breathe my last, inside those smoky eyes.
