Yali dreams creation and holy cow entertainment are a trusted brand when it comes to the quality of their products. लेकिन जब मैं क्वालिटी की बात कर रहा हूं तो यहां बात हो रही है किताब की, ना कि उसकी कहानी या उसके चित्रांकन की।
ऐसी ही बेहतरीन प्रिंट क्वालिटी और बाइंडिंग के साथ याली ड्रीम्स लेकर आए हैं एक नए सुपर हीरो की पहली कॉमिक्स जिसका नाम है Code Name Alpha.

Let’s Dissect…
तो आइए करते हैं इस नये सुपर हीरो का dissection.
Plot
कोड नेम अल्फा एक ऐसे सुपर हीरो की कहानी है जो 20 साल पहले हुए एक हादसे के बाद सुपर हीरो का काम छोड़ चुका है, और मुंबई में एक सड़क छाप टपोरी का जीवन जी रहा है। उसके इस sorry existence मे एक नई उम्मीद की किरण बनकर आती है घुंगरू, जोकि अल्फा के 20 साल पुराने heroic कारनामे से inspired होकर एक क्राइम फाइटर बनना चाहती हैं। अल्फा शुरू में उसके साथ काम करने से मना कर देता है लेकिन बाद में दोनों के बीच एक बहुत मजबूत रिश्ता बन जाता है। आगे कहानी में कई सारे उतार-चढ़ाव आते हैं और कई नए किरदारों के आगमन के साथ एक ऐसा रहस्य खुलता है जो कॉमिक्स के अंत को रोचक बना देता है।
Story
Although the plot of this comics is very appealing, लेकिन लेखक ने बहुत सारे एंगल्स जोड़कर कहानी को बहुत ही ज्यादा पेचीदा अर्थात convoluted बना दिया है।
अगर बात करें कहानी की originality की तो कहानी X-Men, Fantastic Four (Solar flare gives super powers), and Hancock (Drunk, washed up super hero) की एक खिचड़ी सी लगती है। कहानी में दिखाया गया deviants versus pure blood का concept सरासर x-men के mutants versus humans का rip off लगता है।
कॉमिक्स के डायलॉग्स और humour की अगर बात करें, तो शुरू के कुछ पन्नों में अल्फा की टपोरी भाषा अच्छी लगती है लेकिन जैसे-जैसे कहानी आगे बढ़ती है यही टपोरी भाषा असहनीय हो जाती है।
इसके अतिरिक्त Deadpool inspired fourth wall तोड़ने वाले लेखन का कॉमिक्स में भरपूर प्रयोग किया गया है जोकि काफी अच्छा लगता है।
And Finally there is a big reveal at the end which kind of saves the comics.
Art
कॉमिक्स का सबसे मजबूत पहलू अगर देखा जाए तो इस कॉमिक्स का आर्ट है। प्रत्येक फ्रेम इतना खूबसूरत लगता है मानो किरदार अभी जीवित होकर पन्नों से बाहर आ जाएंगे। कॉमिक्स के आवरण पृष्ठ से लेकर कॉमिक्स के अंतिम पन्ने तक आर्ट टीम ने इस कॉमिक्स को एक visual treat बनाया है।
Final Verdict
कुल मिलाकर कोड नेम अल्फा एक अच्छे आर्टवर्क से सजी एक औसत कहानी है। हाला की कहानी के अंत में डाला गया ट्विस्ट अगले भाग के लिए उत्सुकता पैदा करता है लेकिन फिर भी यह उत्सुकता उस स्तर की नहीं है कि अगर अगला भाग जल्दी ना आए तो पाठक व्याकुल हो जाए।
अगर आप मौलिक कहानी की तलाश कर रहे हैं तो एक स्तर तक आपको निराशा ही हाथ लगेगी।
My two cents on political controversy
मैं कहानी में लेखक के द्वारा थोपे गए राजनीतिक एजेंडे की चर्चा नहीं करूंगा क्योंकि हर लेखक का हक बनता है कि वह अपनी सोच अपनी लेखनी में उतारे। जिन लोगों को इस सोच से आपत्ति है वह इसके जवाब में अपनी स्वयं की कॉमिक्स लिखकर प्रत्युत्तर दे सकते हैं।
For the record, I don’t agree with political opinions expressed by writer but I respect his freedom of speech.
Don’t know about the comics as my copy is yet to arrive but your review has certainly piqued my interest in this IP. Eagerly waiting…

I haven’t read this one but the starting as per your review is something i am familiar with. I am a big fan of boichi (a korean born manga artist check out his art if you haven’t) and one of his stories called wallman is similar to this in starting. A retired govt. Mercenary in his 40’s out of shape meets a young female assasin and returns to the world of assasins to help her complete her missions. But the difference is that wallman is a semi hentai (porn) comic so it was based more on seduction and a bit lusty angle. I don’t know if it’s a common trope or something but the review reminded me so i am commenting this here more like a fun fact instead of a copy paste or similarity complaint.
