To be really really honest I was very sceptical even buying the third volume of curious bit publications An One Origin. The first two parts had left me badly confused and disinterested but for the sake of dissection I had to eventually buy it.

Art
I absolutely loved it. The artwork is the best in the series. The vibrancy of colors that was missing in the second issue, has returned. The action sequences are extremely detailed. The world of Mool-aatms looks celestial and it is perfect. There is not one flaw that I could find in this book except for the fact that the size of the comic book is small for the art of this calibre.
Story
My biggest grudge with the first two issues was the story was extremely confusing and as a reader it was very hard to get excited for this third issue. Thankfully, the third act is an adrenaline fueled reading. The story finally starts making sense and you get to understand what this world is all about. The layers are taken away one by one and one gets to see the CoRe of the concept. And it is simply one of the best concept in the Indian comic book industry in recent years. Hats off to the writer for imagining such a detailed world. I am eagerly waiting for the next issue.
Final Verdict
An-One is a different kind of story. It deserves a wider audience and hopefully a hindi translation. The only issue is that the first two parts can dampen the interest of a reader. I’ll suggest publishers to bring a combined issue of parts 1-3 and preferably in big size. This story deserves to be read.
