Art
The artwork of this comic is quite captivating. Colouring is very appealing specially in the frames that show space warfare. Cover is beautiful and sets the tone about what to expect from this comic book in terms of art.
Story
There are two parallel stories running in this comic book. One is set in year 2050 and the other is set in primordial time. And there-in lies the problem with this story. Though the two plots eventually get linked towards the end of issue 1, the whole journey is very confusing and fails to grip the interest of reader. There is no proper character development. There is no proper explanation of the events that are unfolding in the primordial time.
It is quite possible that the writer will explain all of this in an upcoming issues but with your first issue your focus should be on showcasing your story in such a manner that it sucks in the reader and they keep coming back to read more and more. There are frequent jumps between both the story lines which makes it even more confusing, and the reader is not able to grasp completely one plot, while suddenly he is thrusted into another.
Final Verdict
An-one origins appears to have a lot of potential but to a casual reader that potential lays deeply buried in a confusing script. Go for it if you have the ability to wait for a long term resolution. For those who find even a 30 second insta reel long, it is advisable to skip it.
