Hello Comic Nerds
Kindle is like a treasure trove of books. The library is so vast that finding the right book is akin to finding the Holy Grail itself. For someone like me it is in fact a proper treasure hunt, and I must confess that I love to explore. My exploration for unheard unknown comic books on the Kindle platform led me to the discovery of asylum press.
Thus, I present to you the dissection of a three part miniseries titled Warlash : zombie mutant genesis

Plot
Zombie mutant genesis is the story of a zombie plague that threatens to rip apart the city of Pittsburg, and the only person standing between the apocalypse and humanity is a vigilante named Warlash.
Story
The story is very basic. An evil scientist has designed this incarnation of Zombie plague. Warlash is a vigilante who must race against time to prevent a full blown apocalypse. There are no dramatic twists or eye popping reveals along the way.
The story fails to bind the reader even though the entire miniseries is less than 80 pages.
The titular character Warlash himself does not look interesting in anyway. To be honest he looks like as if Bruce Wayne wore a suit that is part Judge Dredd and part Rhino. Our superhero also has a metal tail that looks awful. Even the bionic Alfred and an Arkham inmate like crazy evil scientist villain fail to save this story.
Art
The art of this comic book ministries is plagued with lot of inconsistencies. In some frames our superhero looks huge but in few he looks average sized. The zombies too do not look threatening. The story is thus well complemented by below average artwork.
Final Verdict
Warlash zombie mutant genesis fails to entertain or even pique any interest in the world of Warlash. This will be thus listed in my list of failed explorations.
