She ordered fire,
And I just waited,
For the bullets to,
Hit me hard.
I thought I knew her,
I was mistaken,
As the metal ran,
Through my heart.
And she smiled on my face,
Packed my tears and had them parceled,
She quipped what a fool I was,
As she ordered my court martial.
I was a soldier,
She gave me orders,
I risked my life to,
Play my part.
She acted as friend,
Left me so weakened,
I couldn’t fight as,
She broke my heart.
All it took was one mistake,
She had my feelings chopped and parceled,
Forgetting all that I did for her,
She cruelly ordered my court martial.

Wonderful blog! I found it while browsing on Yahoo News. Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Thanks
