The greatest lady,
The symbol of peace and love,
On the night of 5th September,
Left us.
She was the mother of humanity,
She was a teacher,
She taught us to live in peace,
And to love each other.
She was sent by god,
To give new life,
To this dying humanity,
Which was unable to survive.
The world shed tears,
On her death,
As she died,
Due to a cardiac arrest.
She will remain alive in our thoughts,
The world will never forget her,
She will be remembered,
Forever, forever and forever.
The symbol of peace and love,
On the night of 5th September,
Left us.
She was the mother of humanity,
She was a teacher,
She taught us to live in peace,
And to love each other.
She was sent by god,
To give new life,
To this dying humanity,
Which was unable to survive.
The world shed tears,
On her death,
As she died,
Due to a cardiac arrest.
She will remain alive in our thoughts,
The world will never forget her,
She will be remembered,
Forever, forever and forever.
This poem was written in 1997 when I had respect for Mother Teresa. Then I learnt of Christopher Hitchens.
