I was a shallow soul,
Wandering without a goal,
Running behind the pretty faces.
It took me a while,
It swept away my smiles,
And pushed me into empty spaces.
I tried to crawl out,But I couldn’t find a way,
Thinking that I am doomed,I was ready to stay.
When I heard your voice calling out my name,
I could see the light at the end of my shame,
I fought and killed the darkness hidden deep inside,
I heard your voice bringing me back to the life.
I bled but I didn’t curse,
I had seen events worse,
And now I was a believer.
You know not what you’ve done,
You had my fortunes turned,
And now I was thinking deeper.
Now that I’ve found you out,
I would never let you go,
I will love keep you safe,
Even if you answer ‘no’.
No I will never find, anyone better than you,
I swear it on my life, I am honestly true,
You made me find the light hidden deep inside,
I heard your voice bringing me back to the life.
